HAF Geocache Trail

A number of geocaches have been hidden at various sites in the Highlands relating to Highland heritage.

New to geocaching? It is a popular hobby where people find hidden caches of various sizes, armed only with grid references using gps or smart phones to help locate the cache. You need to create an account on www.geocaching.com, and then you can search using map or keyword. Once you find a geocache, log your findings in the log book in the cache and on the website. The geocaching website has tutorials and information for new users.

All the geocaches begin with the title HAF...followed by the year they were hidden, and have been hidden by HAFcaches. The following are part of the geocache trail:

PLEASE note: a number of the caches have been repeatedly vandalised and are unfortunately no longer available. This have been scored out in the list.
